Keep An Eye On These Things While Choose Outdoor Bag

No matter for hiking, camping, or any other outdoor activities, the most essential gadget is the backpack. A good backpack is a companion that can relieve your burden. However, there are numerous bags on the market from cheap to dear, so it is not an easy job to choose an ideal one.

The current main stream material of backpack is the nylon, canvas, and cordura. Nylon's advantage is the light weight, moisture proof, quick dry, and medium strength while the disadvantage is the poor wear resistance and fireproof. Compared with that, canvas is better in wear resistance but poorer in weight and waterproof. Some people choose the nylon one for the waterproof reason. In fact, both of them are not play a good role in waterproofing. To myself, I'd rather pay more attention on the hand feeling and appearance. I prefer canvas outdoor bag.

Capacity is another important factor. It won't be good no matter the capacity is too small or large. So put or your gear on the list and find a reasonable capacity one.

Suspension system can't totally consult the problem of weight. However, it can distribute the weight to the reasonable places and avoid the condition of over focusing on shoulder. However, for the difference of everyone's body, there is no perfect bag. Take this hiking travel backpack as example, it can work well with the one from 155cm to 185cm, but if you are lower than 155cm or higher than 185cm, you have to choose another one.

After choosing your reasonable backpack, the loading way is also very important. Do remember the below principles:

Put the heavy items in the upper part and let it close to the shoulder as possible. It can avoid the feeling of dragging. Meanwhile, put the big size yet lightweight gadgets at the bottom, so that it won't affect the center of gravity.

Don't put hard items at the place close to your back, or the sharp part will hurt you.

The weight of two sides should be similar, so that the gravity won't be at the two sides. Daily gadgets like water bottle and raincoat should put at the top or the easiest get place.

Has the habit of classifying goods: put the same or similar products into the same small bag especially when there are small in size.
